Its not healthy to start blogging about a topic just because you like it. If you aim to make money with your blog then you ought to write about those topics whose keywords are highly priced.
As at oct 2008, the following keywords were worth $79.81-$12.71 per click and they are as follows:

Google Adsense is divided into 2 basic locations:
1. Adsense for content
2. Adsense for search
You can take advantage and place these on your blog now.
Adsense for content covers ads placed in blogs and websites. you can also place ads in the RSS or Atom feed from your blog.
Adsense for search covers ads placed within search engine results. you can place the search box in your blog.

5. Next you configure Adsense by deciding on the size and color formatting for your Adsense ad. Its best to use colors that match your blog background. once you are finished press SAVE CHANGES'

1. Log into Blogger.
2. Go to layout- Page elements, then add a page element link where you want to add your Adsense ad.
3. A pop up window will open up labelled 'choose a new page element'. select the 'Adsense' option and click on the 'ADD TO BLOG' option.
4. if you do not have an Adsense account you will ad prompted to "CREATE ACCOUNT"

Once you have setup your Blogger blog, Blogger will host your blog for free on "blogspot.com". For posting articles, Blogger has a basic WYSIWYG editor (what you see is what you get). All you need do is simply type or copy paste your articles to the text area of the Blogger blog, then give it a title, label (optional), and then click on SAVE then 'PUBLISH'.
